Heartsaver First Aid
Intended Audience
Persons assigned
to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community as well
as those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills. Some
rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer’s
efforts to comply with OSHA regulations, e.g., corporate employees,
security guards, airline personnel, lifeguards and other individuals
who want or need first aid training.
Course Description
The Heartsaver
First Aid Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and
treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency
medical services personnel arrive. When combined
with a Heartsaver CPR course (with optional Infant/Child and/or
AED modules—see below), the course also provides a complete
health and safety training solution for first aid, CPR and AED.
Course Length: 3 - 9 hours depending on supplementary
modules included.

Heartsaver First Aid With CPR and AED, (and Pediatric module,
if included) Required
