Allied EMS Systems, Inc., organized as a 501 ©3 non-profit corporation, provides compassionate high quality pre-hospital emergency medical care to those visiting and residing in portions of Emmet County, Charlevoix County, Mackinac County, Presque Isle County, and Antrim County. Each regional facility provides in-house staffed Advanced Life Support response capability and is financially supported by local units of government and managed by Allied EMS Systems, Inc. Our local community ownership, area-specific ambulance boards, and community-based staff enhances our ability to be highly responsive to our communities' needs.

Our goal at Allied EMS Systems, Inc. is to provide the highest quality medical care for our community. Many reasons can be suggested for the success of Allied EMS Systems, Inc., but two major factors are most critical. The first is the consistent support of our communities. Without these contributions, Allied EMS Systems, Inc. would not be capable of providing high quality care using state-of-the-art equipment. Our very dedicated and professional staff provides the second factor. With their expertise, we have and will continue to offer innovative programs and state-of-the-art care.

Allied EMS provides many valuable community services beyond 911 response calls: Kids Safe Kamp; K-12 School Presentations/Ambulance tours; Speaker services for substance abuse programs; Blood Pressure and Flu Shot Clinics; Holiday Open Houses in Petoskey and Harbor Springs; Disaster Planning support; Stand-by Services Emmet County Fair and Area Festivals; Football, soccer and hockey games; Bridge Walk and Car Shows; Fire Training; Health runs and scouting events... The Allied EMS Education Department offers a variety of emergency medical services classes: CPR; First Aid and AED training to the general community; Basic and Advanced Life Support training for area healthcare providers, including the staff of Northern Michigan Regional Hospital; Initial EMS classes (Medical First Responder; EMT-Basic, and EMT-Specialist) offered at Allied; Advanced classes in trauma and pediatric emergencies; Instructor training in CPR/First Aid; Instructional support for North Central Michigan College's Paramedic program; Partnerships with area first response agencies to maintain EMS licensure through Continuing Education and Professional Development classes.
